Mo made some very wide watercolour sketching pads, about 10 x 35 cm, to produce sketches like the two at left.

In making these, he also took offcuts of watercolour paper of about 2 cm height or less, which he folded to produce very compact sketching pads, as shown in the photo below.

These have been useful to allow sketching when only short amounts of time are available. They are also useful practice in capturing only what is essential, as there is no space for detail.
